What should I expect?

It involves the safe, gentle and specific manipulation and mobilisation of the body's joints and other soft tissue techniques which improve motion range and overall health of all the joints.

How long is the recovery process?

The recovery process depends from a number of factors such as the individual himself, the type, duration and cause of the problem, the age of the patient, the lifestyle and habits. Usually, in the beginning, the sessions are held 2 to 3 times a week for 2 to 3 weeks, while then they are gradually reduced to once a week, once a fortnight to once a month. Treatment after continues as a maintenance care to prevent recurrence, in combination with appropriate exercises if needed.

The treatment plan is discussed in the consultation and can be changed depending on the individual’s needs.
